Who We Are
Star Track is a free youth cycling program based at Kissena Velodrome in Queens, empowering NYC kids—many from under-resourced communities—through the sport of track racing. Since 2004, it has introduced thousands to cycling, fostering confidence, athletic growth, and national-level success. With over 50 national titles and multiple national records, Star Track is a USA Cycling Jr. Club of the Year and Center of Excellence. Thanks to sponsor support, the program remains completely free for local youth ages 8–16.

Building Community and Confidence in Our Youth
Star Track is more than a cycling program—it’s a launchpad for confidence, teamwork, and personal growth. By providing free access to coaching, equipment, and competition, the program helps kids build strong values, lasting friendships, and a sense of belonging. Through racing, they learn discipline, resilience, and the power of community—on and off the track.
Meet Our Star Track UCI Pro Team
In 2022, Star Track launched the first new UCI pro track trade team in over a decade, giving top North American riders a pathway to international competition without national team status. In just its first seasons, team athletes raced in World Championships, the UCI Track Champions League, and the 2024 Paris Olympics, proudly representing the USA and Canada.
